Father's Day Freebie

Happy Father's Day, everybody! I have a freebie for you special for the occasion! I'm working on a kit called "Men in Our Lives" - which is coming soon - and will be a wonderful kit for scrapping about just that. Our fathers, husbands, sons, brothers - all the important guys :)
It's still a ways off from completion, but today I am sharing a tiny part of it. Enjoy! And happy scrapping!

Quick Page Album & A Layout

Hey all! So, in addition to the designing I've been doing, I have also been creating some quick pages for another designer. My first quick page album is complete!

This coordinates with the Funshine kit by Calico Designs. Click the photo to view/buy the Quickpage album. Click here to see the whole Funshine Kit, and click here to visit the Calico Designs blog.

I'm happy, cuz I MADE it! And it's in a store! That's a step in the right direction, eh?

Also Christine, the woman behind Calico Designs, did me he favor of sharing another lovely layout with me. She made this with my Budding Artist kit:

So is everyone enjoying my Budding Artist kit? I'd love to see some layouts! Send them my way! :)

First Freebie

Hey everybody - well here it is - my first kit ever! I humbly offer it up as a freebie because I definitely have lots to learn :) I'm already nearly finished with my second project and it will be MUCH better.
I considered not even sharing this kit because I don't think it's the best... but when I went back and looked again I thought well, maybe somebody can use it!

So here it is, my first kit - Southwest Style:

What's Included:

- 2 Southwest Rug Pattern Papers
- 4 Coordinating Solid Papers
- 1 Desert Landscape Paper
- 1 Leather Strip
- 1 Studded Leather Strip
- 1 Hammered Metal Frame
- 1 Metal Frame with Turquoise Brads
- 1 Turquoise Brad
- 1 Turquoise Brad w/ Metal Surround
- 1 Red Wooden Photo Corner
- 1 Red Metal Photo Corner
- 1 Chili Pepper Rub-On element
- 1 Dreamcatcher Element
- 1 Rustic Wood Frame
**Special Thanks to Atomic Cupcake**

Here is a simple layout I created with my Southwest Style kit:

The font I used for the title in my layout is called Burrito. You can download it on dafont.com for free! I would have loved to make an alpha to share with you for this kit, but their site doesn't allow that with their fonts. I used a velvet action by atomic cupcake to give the "utah" title it's leather-y look.

Please let me know what you think of this kit if you download it. Like I said, I have lots to learn and I'm working on my second project!

If you use this kit to create a layout, I would LOVE to see it! Send any pages to thedigitaldaisy@gmail.com and I would love to showcase them here on my page!!

Welcome to The Digital Daisy!

Hey everybody! Welcome to my site! I am so excited about things that are to come. I am just breaking into the design world - and I'm so excited about it!

I've been scrapbooking for 2 1/2 years and digi-scrapping for almost a year. It's been such an amazing creative outlet for me. I am thrilled that digi-scrapping has become so huge... somehow I feel connected to all you wonderful ladies out there by sharing this hobby!

This is a bit of a work in progress right now as I am just getting rolling.... I have just completed my first kit and will be offering it up as a freebie here VERY soon!
And I already have a second kit underway.

Keep an eye out and I'll be back soon to share. In the meanwhile won't you check out My Layout Gallery? Thanks a ton!
